Drew was just a kid when he was given a special pair of magical blue shoes from The Great Shoedini – these shoes enabled Drew to perform magical illusions wherever he went – and Drew Blue Shoes was born! Drew learned masterful magic tricks step-by-step and started sharing his tricks with audiences ever since!
In reality…
Drew’s passion for magic began when he was just seven years-old when his grandmother gave him a magic set. This obsession blossomed as Drew performed his magic tricks for friends and family – and hosted his first magic shows in his family’s living room at his Northern Virginia home! Since then, has meticulously (and obsessively) practiced the art of magic, sleight-of-hand, showmanship, and plain-old-entertainment!

Drew performed his first professional gig when he was 15. Now just 28 years-young, he’s happy that he can finally put “over a decade of experience” on his résumé. Having started magic so young (and upkeeping his youth to this day), Drew understands what makes young kids go WOW!
That, plus Drew’s youthful energy, allows him to connect with young audiences and conduct electrifying magic shows! Drew hundreds of shows every year and entertains thousands of families all across the country. Every event is a new opportunity for Drew to make people smile and conjure up memories that will last forever! Even though all his shows are kid-friendly, Drew makes sure to entertain audience members of all ages with quips that goes over the kids’ heads and high-caliber magic that goes over even the adults’ heads.
Drew has a busy life as a full-time magician. He spends most of his time rehearsing shows, creating new shows, inventing tricks, and traveling between shows. He is also an active member of the Society of American Magicians assemblies in Fairfax and Winchester, Virginia and The International Brotherhood of Magicians in Washington, DC. When Drew isn’t thinking about magic, it’s probably because he’s sleeping – and dreaming of magic!
Away from the stage, Drew enjoys juggling, skateboarding, art, and anything fun!
